American Samoa Community College

What are the popular events and traditions at American Samoa Community College?

ASCC's reported recurring student activities include intramurals, field games, and a talent show. They offer opportunities for participation beyond coursework, though individual events and dates depend on the current student-activities calendar.

The talent show provides a performance setting, while field games and intramurals emphasize group recreation. Cultural and community-focused activities may also be organized through clubs and college programs. Prospective students should look for current announcements rather than assume an event occurs on the same date, or in the same format, every year.

What are the student housing and dining options at American Samoa Community College?

ASCC does not provide college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing. Students who need accommodation must arrange it independently, and an estimate for room and board in college cost data should not be mistaken for a residence-hall price or a housing offer.

That distinction is especially important for students arriving from off island: housing, travel to the Mapusaga campus, and everyday meals need to be planned before classes begin. Students should also verify current on-campus food availability and opening hours rather than assume that a residential-college meal plan or dining hall is part of enrollment.
