Prospective Fellows should use the Conservatory's current campus procedures for emergencies, incident reporting and access to facilities. Production work may take place at varied hours or locations, making the safety rules for a shoot as relevant as those for ordinary classroom use.
Before relying on a particular service, such as an overnight escort or staffed security patrol, a student should confirm that it operates at the needed place and time. The institution's current emergency instructions and annual security report are the appropriate places to check reporting contacts and the scope of reported campus crime. Crime figures, if consulted, cover defined locations and reporting periods; they are not a complete measure of every situation a Fellow might encounter in Los Angeles. Students should also identify the current procedure for reporting sexual misconduct and seeking support.
