For the 2024-25 reporting year, published full-time undergraduate tuition was the same for in-state and out-of-state students: $11,400, plus $968 in required fees. Full-time graduate tuition was likewise reported at the same rate regardless of state residency: $8,190, plus $598 in required fees.
Adding the reported room and board charges to undergraduate tuition and fees produces $22,283, but that is not a complete cost-of-attendance estimate. Books, transportation, personal expenses, and any program-specific charges would increase the total. Nor will every student use campus housing or dining. Published charges are a starting point; an individual's remaining cost depends on their course load, living arrangements, and aid eligibility.
For undergraduates, 54% were reported as receiving financial aid in the 2024-25 data, and the average grant aid awarded to undergraduate recipients across reported sources was $4,673. An average award is not a promised discount. Applicants should request a current, individualized aid offer before comparing what they would actually pay.
Student employment and financial aid are different ways to meet expenses. A campus job pays wages for work performed; Federal Work-Study, if offered to an eligible student, is a need-based aid program that supports employment rather than an upfront reduction in the tuition bill.
Students interested in working should ask the financial aid office whether Federal Work-Study is available to them and where eligible jobs are posted. They can also inquire about ordinary part-time campus positions, which may have different hiring and aid rules. The institution reports career support that includes résumé help, job referrals, and a job bank, but access to those services does not guarantee employment.
