Students should use ILT's current emergency instructions and reporting contacts for any instruction or activity they attend in person. A student taking all courses remotely will face a different set of practical safety considerations from someone traveling to the Brookings location.
Before an in-person visit or course, ask how to report an emergency, whom to contact about harassment or sexual misconduct, and how the institution communicates urgent closures or schedule changes. An annual security report, where applicable, should be read with its reporting period and covered locations in mind; reported crime counts are not a complete measure of an individual's safety.
