Students should use ICSW's current campus procedures to understand how to report an emergency, a safety concern, or sexual misconduct. The procedures applicable to a graduate institution may differ from those at a residential undergraduate campus.
Before attending in person, students should identify the building's emergency instructions, after-hours access rules, and the office responsible for incident reports. An annual security report, where applicable, can provide federally defined crime statistics and policies; its figures should be read with their reporting period and geographic boundaries in mind, not as a complete measure of personal safety.
