Lehman's events include student-programming activities, academic gatherings, and public performances. Spring Fling is one student-life event associated with the campus; its activities and schedule can change by year.
The Lehman Center for the Performing Arts also brings concerts and other performances to campus, connecting the college with a wider Bronx audience. Cultural programs and student-organized celebrations add opportunities to meet classmates outside courses. Prospective students should use a current campus calendar rather than assume that any particular themed party or festival recurs on a fixed date.
Lehman does not provide college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing. Applicants who need to relocate should plan for off-campus accommodation and its separate costs; admission to Lehman does not include a residence-hall placement.
Students can obtain food on or near campus, but they should verify current campus dining locations, hours, and payment options for the term they intend to attend. A traditional residential meal plan should not be assumed. For commuters, the useful budgeting question is often how many meals they will need between classes and travel, rather than the price of a housing-and-dining package.
