ACC's recurring calendar includes academic milestones such as commencement and events tied to student learning and community engagement. These are more reliable ways to understand its public campus life than assuming a residential-college tradition such as homecoming.
Transfer information sessions, career-related events, exhibitions and performances may offer reasons to visit campus beyond a scheduled class. Their topics, venues and frequency can change, so the current college events calendar is the appropriate source for a particular term. Commencement has a different purpose: it marks completion of a credential rather than serving as a routine student activity.
ACC does not offer college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing. Students arrange their own accommodation and commute to class; there is no ACC residence-hall application or first-year campus-housing requirement.
Likewise, applicants should not assume a residential meal plan or dining hall is included in attendance. Food options can depend on the campus and its operating hours. The room-and-board amount in a cost-of-attendance estimate is a budgeting allowance for living expenses, not a charge for housing or meals supplied by the college.
