Walden University

What are the security measures and safety resources available for students at Walden University?

Walden's safety arrangements need to be understood in light of its primarily online instruction. The campus-oriented services common at residential universities, such as dormitory access controls or late-night escorts, should not be assumed to apply to a student studying remotely.

Students should consult Walden's published emergency procedures, annual security disclosures where applicable, and policies for reporting harassment, discrimination, or sexual misconduct. For an in-person residency or clinical placement, the host site's emergency contacts and reporting process may also matter. Remote students should know how to reach university support and how to report an immediate threat to local emergency services.
