A current, comparable institution-wide graduation rate cannot be drawn from the available 2024-25 figures. An older reported cohort had a 33% graduation rate in 2019, but that historical figure should not be treated as the current completion probability for every Walden student.
Federal graduation-rate measures commonly follow a narrowly defined group of first-time, full-time undergraduates. Walden enrolls many transfer and adult students, so that measure can omit much of its student body; graduate programs also have different timelines. The reported retention figure of zero is not a sound basis for concluding that no students returned. Applicants comparing programs should seek completion figures for the particular degree, cohort, and study pace they expect to follow.
College Scorecard field-of-study data report earnings measured one year after completion for graduates with usable earnings records. These are historical outcomes for particular fields, not starting-salary offers or predictions for an individual student.
The figures may reflect different credential levels, prior work experience, occupations, and local labor markets. They also do not subtract tuition or debt. For an adult learner already employed in the field, earnings after completion may partly reflect an established career rather than the effect of the new degree alone.
