United Tribes Technical College

What are the popular events and traditions at United Tribes Technical College?

The United Tribes International Powwow is a significant recurring event associated with the college and the wider Native community. A powwow brings together dancers, singers, families and visitors; its cultural meaning is broader than a routine campus social event.

UTTC also identifies basketball games and a parent breakfast among its events. Schedules, venues and participation arrangements can change, so students who want to attend or volunteer should use the current event calendar. These gatherings provide different ways to engage with campus life: one centers cultural celebration, while others connect students through sports or family participation.

What are the student housing and dining options at United Tribes Technical College?

UTTC offers college-operated housing to undergraduates, including coeducational housing. Availability is not the same as a guaranteed room, so students intending to live on campus should ask about eligibility, the housing application, assignment timing and the terms of the residence agreement.

Before accepting a housing offer, students should check what is included in the charge, how dining is arranged and whether a meal plan is required. They should also ask about kitchen access, internet service and rules for stays outside the regular academic term. Students comparing on-campus and off-campus options need to account for transportation and utilities as well as rent; the published room-and-board figure is only a starting point for that comparison.
