The annual price of CPS depends on course load, academic year and aid eligibility. IPEDS figures for 2024-25 list undergraduate tuition of $9,896 for full-time students, with no separate required-fee amount reported in that tuition measure; the reported part-time undergraduate charge is $413 per credit. The same figures list equal in-state and out-of-state rates.
A separate, later tuition listing gives $11,970 for a full academic year. Because these amounts come from different reporting contexts, they should not be combined into one annual bill. Students should obtain a current CPS estimate based on their program, credits and start term, then add books or course materials, transportation, technology and living expenses. The absence of a separate required fee in one reported measure does not establish that every course-related expense is included.
Financial aid changes the calculation but not equally for everyone. In IPEDS 2024-25 reporting, 96% of students received financial aid and 59% had student loans. The reported average net price was $20,802 for students from families with annual incomes up to $48,000; this is a group average after applicable aid, not a quoted price for an individual. Eligible students should complete the FAFSA and ask Indiana Tech's financial aid office about federal grants and loans, Indiana programs, institutional assistance and applicable military or veteran education benefits.
CPS students can consider paid work alongside their studies, but a part-time job, an internship and Federal Work-Study are different arrangements. Federal Work-Study is need-based financial aid for eligible students who obtain qualifying jobs; an aid offer does not itself guarantee a position or wages.
Students interested in work-study should complete the FAFSA, review their aid offer and ask the financial aid office how eligible positions are posted. For other jobs and career preparation, Indiana Tech's career-support resources are the appropriate starting point for questions about résumé feedback, interviews, employer contacts and internship searches. Availability may depend on whether a student studies online or in person. An internship's academic credit, pay and scheduling requirements should be confirmed with the program rather than inferred from general career services.
