UAM's reported overall graduation rate was 49% in the 2024-25 IPEDS-based figures. Separately reported four-year and six-year rates were 28% and 38%, respectively. These measures should not be added together: graduation statistics can use different cohorts, completion windows, and credential definitions.
The reported six-year rate improved from 35% in the preceding comparison year, while the four-year rate rose from 24%. UAM's reported student retention rate was 72%. Retention asks whether students continued enrollment over a specified interval; it does not measure whether they ultimately completed a credential.
Federal graduation measures generally focus on defined groups of entering students and do not describe every transfer, part-time, or returning adult learner. A student comparing programs should also ask about the usual course sequence and whether required classes are offered often enough to support their planned completion timeline.
College Scorecard field-of-study figures provide a limited look at earnings one year after completion for federally aided students in the reported programs. They are not starting-salary offers or predictions for an individual graduate.
Among the reported figures, the median for nursing was $57,480. The figures were $36,486 for management information systems, $34,799 for business administration, and $34,793 for agricultural business and management. Other reported examples include psychology at $28,595 and criminal justice at $25,881.
These are program-level, one-year measures, not a comparison adjusted for occupation, work hours, local labor markets, or further education. A broad field label can also encompass more than one credential. Students considering a particular degree should pair earnings figures with its curriculum, likely licensure steps, borrowing needs, and longer-term career plans.
