TCC's reported overall graduation rate was 32% in IPEDS 2024-25 data. This is a cohort measure, not the percentage of all students who eventually earn a credential.
Federal graduation-rate reporting generally follows first-time, full-time, degree- or certificate-seeking students and measures completion within 150% of the credential's normal length. For a two-year program, that commonly means three years. The measure does not describe every part-time student or every student who transferred into TCC, and transferring elsewhere without completing a TCC credential is different from graduating in this statistic.
The figure is useful for comparing a defined group over time, but it should be read alongside the college's transfer role and the requirements of the specific program a student plans to enter. It cannot, on its own, explain why an individual student did or did not finish.
There is no single salary figure that reliably describes the earning prospects of every TCC student. Outcomes depend on the credential, occupation, local labor market, further education, and a student's work history.
When comparing programs, students should look closely at what an earnings statistic measures. A College Scorecard figure, for example, may cover a particular group of former students receiving federal aid at a specified time after attendance or completion; it is not an offer of employment or a prediction of an individual graduate's pay. Earnings are most useful alongside program costs, completion outcomes, licensing requirements, and the likelihood that a student will need additional education.
