For 2024-25, reported full-time undergraduate tuition was $10,595 for both in-state and out-of-state students, with $1,604 in required fees. Together, those published charges total $12,199 before books, housing, food, transportation, and personal expenses. A part-time undergraduate charge of $328 per credit was also reported; an individual bill depends on course load and applicable charges.
Tuition and fees are not the same as the full cost of attendance. A financial aid budget can also include living expenses, transportation, and other allowed costs, even if a student does not pay those amounts directly to the university. Net price is a historical average after grant and scholarship aid, not a personalized quote; applicants should compare their own aid offer with a program-specific estimate, particularly if they plan to attend part time or need equipment, clinical supplies, or transportation to placements.
Financial aid can reduce the amount paid out of pocket, but loans must generally be repaid. In the 2024-25 aid figures, 94% of students received financial aid and 69% had student loans. Those shares describe recipients, not the amount of aid an individual student will receive.
Rasmussen students may combine study with paid work, but a job, an internship, and Federal Work-Study are different arrangements. Federal Work-Study is need-based financial aid that, when awarded and paired with an eligible job, allows a student to earn wages; it is not an automatic tuition discount or a promise of employment.
Students interested in work-study should complete the FAFSA and review their aid offer and available positions with the financial aid office. For other part-time work, they can ask career services about job listings and employer contacts. Scheduling matters in programs with labs, clinical shifts, or field placements, and Rasmussen does not require an internship of every student.
