Purdue Global's annual cost depends heavily on residency, program, pace and whether a student uses a conventional per-credit format or an alternative such as ExcelTrack. For 2024-25, IPEDS reported the following full-time undergraduate tuition and required fees; these are published charges, not each student's final bill.
Students must also budget for books or materials, computer and internet access, transportation to any required placements, and ordinary living expenses. Purdue Global does not provide a conventional residence-hall-and-meal-plan package, so a student's housing costs depend on personal circumstances. Graduate tuition, professional-program charges and competency-based pricing require separate estimates; the undergraduate figures above should not be applied to them.
Financial aid can change the amount paid. In 2024-25 reporting, 79% of students received financial aid and 46% had student loans. The reported average undergraduate grant award across federal, state, local, institutional and other sources was $5,456. For a defined group of students from families earning no more than $48,000, the reported average net price was $1,665; that figure is not a general price quote for all applicants.
Eligible students can explore federal grants and loans by submitting the FAFSA, alongside any applicable state aid, institutional assistance, employer tuition benefits or military and veteran education benefits. Eligibility and award amounts differ. A practical comparison is the university's individualized cost-of-attendance estimate and aid offer, with grants separated from loans that must be repaid.
Working while enrolled is common within Purdue Global's adult-oriented model, but a regular job, an internship and Federal Work-Study are different arrangements. Federal Work-Study, when offered and awarded, is a need-based aid program that pays wages for eligible work; it is not a tuition discount or a guaranteed job.
Students interested in work-study should ask Purdue Global's financial aid office whether it participates for their program and enrollment period, what FAFSA-based eligibility rules apply, and how approved jobs are posted. An employer-paid job does not become Federal Work-Study simply because its employee is a student. Likewise, a required clinical placement or internship may have academic value without being paid employment.
Purdue Global's career services are a separate resource for exploring occupations and preparing applications. Students should ask about access to career advising, résumé and interview assistance, job-search resources and employer events for their particular program. Career support does not establish that a placement or job offer will result.
