A conventional four- or six-year undergraduate graduation rate is not necessarily a useful measure for evaluating a specialized program with professional or graduate-level study. The more useful questions are how many students enter the credential of interest, how many complete it, and how long completion takes.
Ask the college for recent, program-specific completion figures with the entering cohort and measurement period clearly identified. If licensure-exam results are offered, consider them separately from graduation: finishing a program and passing a professional examination are different outcomes.
Prospective students should not treat an acupuncture credential as a promise of a particular income. Earnings depend on factors including licensure, location, employment arrangement, patient volume, and the costs of operating a practice.
When comparing earnings figures, check whether a source measures wages or total income, which graduates it includes, and how long after completion it measures them. A national occupational estimate is not the same as an earnings outcome for Racine graduates; neither accounts on its own for educational debt or self-employment expenses.
