Crowley's Ridge College's reported overall graduation rate is 36% in the 2024-25 IPEDS figures. Its reported four-year rate is 23%, while the six-year rate is 32%. These measures can use different cohorts and definitions, so they should not be read as successive results for one identical group of students.
Federal graduation measures generally follow a defined group of first-time, full-time degree-seeking students. They do not describe every transfer student, part-time student, or adult learner. CRC's reported retention rate is 54%, another indicator worth considering when asking how students progress from one year to the next.
For an individual applicant, the useful follow-up is program-specific: ask about course scheduling, required fieldwork or student teaching, and how often needed classes are offered. Those factors can affect a student's path to completion without explaining, on their own, the college-wide rates.
An earnings figure should be interpreted by when it was measured, whose earnings it includes, and whether it is a median or an average. A figure for all former students would answer a different question from one limited to graduates of a particular major.
College Scorecard program earnings measures, when published, are not salary promises. They can reflect small groups of former students, employment patterns, geography, and further education as well as the degree itself. CRC applicants comparing majors may find it more useful to examine the occupations a program prepares them for, any licensing requirements, and the local job markets where they expect to work.
