Schiller International University

What are the popular events and traditions at Schiller International University?

Schiller identifies international food festivals, Picnic in the Park and horseback riding among student activities. The food-focused events are consistent with its cross-cultural emphasis; the other activities offer ways to meet classmates outside coursework.

These examples should not be mistaken for a guaranteed annual calendar or for events held at every campus. A Tampa student interested in attending or helping organize one should check the current term's student-activities schedule for its location, date, cost and any registration requirements.

What are the student housing and dining options at Schiller International University?

Schiller does not report college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing, so applicants should not assume that admission includes a room in a campus residence hall. Housing arrangements, including any accommodation suggested or coordinated by the university, should be confirmed specifically for Tampa before an applicant makes a financial commitment.

A student comparing options should ask whether an accommodation is university-operated, contracted through another provider or entirely independent; who signs the lease; what utilities and internet are included; and whether housing is available for the full academic term. The same distinction applies to meals: students should confirm whether any dining arrangement or meal plan is offered at their location and budget for food separately if it is not.
