Renton Technical College

What are the popular events and traditions at Renton Technical College?

Orientation and graduation are two documented recurring occasions in RTC's academic year. Orientation introduces incoming students to enrollment and campus procedures; graduation recognizes students completing their credentials.

RTC also offers job fairs as part of its career support, giving students a way to encounter employers and learn about openings. Event schedules and participating employers can change. These activities are more relevant to RTC's documented student experience than assuming the college has the homecoming or game-day traditions of a residential university.

What are the student housing and dining options at Renton Technical College?

RTC does not offer college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing. Students who need to relocate must arrange accommodation independently and account for the commute to campus or any required off-site training.

Applicants should not interpret a housing or food allowance in a financial-aid budget as an RTC room charge or a meal plan. Dining arrangements and campus food-service hours should be checked against the student's class schedule, particularly for evening programs. For budgeting, rent, groceries, and transportation are individual living costs rather than guaranteed services included with tuition.
