Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City

What are the popular events and traditions at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City?

Recurring events listed for OSU-OKC include Howdy Week, Land-Grant Week, and First-Gen Week. Together, they reflect a campus calendar shaped by student welcome activities, Oklahoma State University's land-grant identity, and recognition of first-generation college students.

Howdy Week provides a timely opportunity for students to learn about campus life near the start of a term. First-Gen Week draws attention to the experiences and resources relevant to students whose families have not previously navigated college. Event dates and activities can vary from year to year, so a current campus calendar is more useful than assuming a fixed schedule or format.

What are the student housing and dining options at Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City?

OSU-OKC does not offer college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing. Students must arrange their own living situation and should not interpret a published room-and-board allowance as the price of an available campus room or meal plan.

For a prospective student, the practical housing decision is how rent, food, utilities, and travel will fit around class and program schedules. Dining options on or near campus may change, so students who expect to spend long days in classes or labs should check current food-service hours and budget for meals without assuming that a residential dining plan is available.
