Safety arrangements for online and extended-education students depend partly on whether they visit Northwest University's Kirkland campus or another instructional site. Students attending in person should consult the university's current campus-safety guidance, emergency procedures, reporting contacts, and annual security report for the location they use.
The annual security report is the appropriate source for federally reported campus-crime statistics, but those figures cover defined locations and reporting periods; they cannot describe every personal-safety risk. Students should also identify how to report sexual misconduct or other concerns and which support process applies to an incident involving an online course or off-campus activity. A student completing a placement at another organization may need to follow that site's emergency procedures as well.
