Conventional four- and six-year first-time undergraduate graduation rates are a limited way to assess NUNM's outcomes. Such measures follow a defined entering undergraduate cohort; NUNM recorded zero first-time, degree- or certificate-seeking undergraduate entrants in the 2024-25 enrollment figures.
That does not describe whether transfer students or graduate and professional students complete their programs. Applicants should instead ask the relevant program for a clearly defined cohort completion rate, its measurement period, and, for a licensure-oriented degree, examination and licensing outcomes. Comparing those figures with rates for first-time freshmen at a conventional four-year college would conflate different student populations.
Earnings should be evaluated by program and occupation, not inferred from NUNM's name or from a broad health-sciences category. A health-sciences bachelor's graduate, a nutrition graduate, and a naturopathic doctoral graduate may enter different jobs and face different licensing requirements.
When reviewing an earnings statistic, check whether it describes a median or an average, how long after graduation income was measured, and which former students were included. Early-career earnings can omit self-employment income or reflect graduates who have not yet finished additional training. For clinical programs, applicants should weigh any earnings evidence alongside total borrowing, time to licensure, and the rules governing practice in their intended location.
