MCW maintains campus public-safety and emergency procedures for its educational and medical-center setting. Students should identify the reporting and emergency contacts for the campus and clinical sites where they actually study or train.
Its published annual security report is the appropriate place to review Clery Act crime disclosures, reporting options and stated safety policies. Such statistics cover specified locations and reporting years; they cannot, on their own, describe every student's personal safety. MCW also provides procedures for reporting sexual misconduct and seeking support. Because a clinical rotation may occur away from the main campus, students should learn both MCW's procedures and those of the placement site.
