Reported completion figures suggest that students should plan carefully around the time their degree may take. The institution's reported overall graduation rate is 24%, while a separately reported six-year graduation rate is 44%.
These measures should not be treated as interchangeable: graduation rates can cover different entering cohorts, degree levels, and completion windows. A reported four-year rate of 16% adds another time-based perspective. The reported student retention rate is 60%; retention measures continued enrollment over a specified period, not eventual graduation.
Federal graduation-rate measures commonly emphasize particular groups of first-time, full-time entrants and therefore may not describe the experience of transfer students or adults attending part time. An applicant comparing programs should ask for degree-specific completion and licensure outcomes where those are relevant, as well as a realistic course schedule for their own enrollment intensity.
College Scorecard field-of-study figures report earnings one year after completion for certain federally aided completers. They are retrospective measures for defined groups, not starting-salary offers or predictions for an individual student.
These figures should be compared only with an understanding of the credential and cohort behind each field. One-year earnings can reflect whether former students work full time, continue their education, or enter occupations with different pay patterns. They do not subtract education costs or measure long-term career growth. Career support is a separate consideration: reported services include individual and group counseling, résumé help, interview preparation, job listings, job fairs, and employer recruitment.
