Prospective students should view Concorde Career College-Kansas City primarily as a program-based learning community, rather than assume it has the homecoming calendar or longstanding campus festivals of a residential university.
Program orientations, skills-related activities and completion celebrations may be especially relevant to a health care student's experience, but dates and formats should be checked against the current campus calendar. Events at another Concorde location should not be treated as Kansas City traditions.
Concorde Career College-Kansas City does not provide college-owned or college-operated undergraduate housing. Students must arrange their own place to live and plan for transportation between home, campus and any clinical site.
Because the campus does not operate residence halls, applicants should not build a budget around an institutional room-and-board package. Instead, they should estimate their own rent, food, utilities and commuting costs and compare that estimate with the living-expense allowance used in their financial aid budget. Any proposed off-campus rental is a separate arrangement with its landlord, not a college housing placement.
