CNCC's reported overall graduation rate for 2024-25 is 34%. This is a defined cohort measure, not the percentage of every person who has ever taken a class at the college who eventually earns a credential.
Federal graduation-rate reporting generally follows first-time, full-time, degree- or certificate-seeking students through 150% of the normal time for their program. For a two-year program, that commonly means three years. Part-time students, many returning adults, and students who transfer before completing a CNCC award may not be represented in the same way.
The rate is useful for comparing completion within a specific time frame, but it cannot by itself explain why students did or did not finish. A prospective student should consider the graduation measure alongside the requirements, schedule, and likely time to completion of the particular program they intend to enter.
A reliable, program-specific earnings figure is not established here for CNCC graduates. A college-wide salary claim would be especially easy to misread at an institution whose students pursue different goals, including direct employment and transfer to a four-year college.
When comparing earnings published elsewhere, check whether the measure covers graduates or all former aid recipients, whether it reports a median or an average, and how many years after attendance income was measured. Earnings can also reflect occupation, local labor markets, further education, and prior work experience. They are one consideration - not a promise of what an individual CNCC student will earn.
