Saint Mary's reported a 64% four-year graduation rate and a 69% six-year graduation rate in the 2024-25 institutional data. These measures follow a defined cohort of first-time, full-time students pursuing a bachelor's degree; they do not describe the completion rate of every transfer, part-time, or graduate student.
The difference between the four- and six-year rates shows that some members of the cohort completed after the fourth year. It does not explain why others did not graduate from Saint Mary's; students who transferred and completed a degree elsewhere are not counted as Saint Mary's graduates in that measure. The reported first-year retention rate was 88%, meaning most students in the applicable entering cohort returned the following fall. Applicants comparing colleges should use the same cohort definitions and reporting years for a fair comparison.
College Scorecard program figures describe median earnings for qualifying former students about one year after completing their program. They are observed outcomes for a defined group, not starting-salary offers or predictions of what a future graduate will make.
In the October 2026 Scorecard figures, the reported one-year median was $61,921 for registered nursing and $64,018 for accounting and related services. The corresponding figures were $43,091 for business administration, $38,943 for communication and media studies, and $34,834 for teacher education focused on specific levels and methods. Each figure applies to its own program population and should not be read as a college-wide median.
Early earnings are only part of a career picture. Graduate study, licensure, geography, hours worked, and the mix of jobs pursued can affect pay, while small program cohorts can limit what is reportable. Saint Mary's also offers career counseling, résumé and interview assistance, job-search resources, employer events, and alumni networking. The availability of those services is distinct from evidence that a particular student will receive a job offer.
