University of Bielsko-Biała

University of Bielsko-Biała (Akademia Techniczno-Humanistyczna or ATH) is a public research university in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. It was founded in 1969 as a branch of the Technical University of Łódź. It became autonomous, received university status, and its current name in 2001. Accredited by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the only public university in the Podbeskidzie region, ATH is recognized for its programs in computer science, humanities, and management.

These are the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Materials, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Management and Transport, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Health Sciences. ATH offers bachelor’s, master’s (M.A. and M.Sc.), and doctoral programs in 21 fields of study. Most courses are offered in Polish but some are offered in English, such as B.A. in English for Foreigners and M.A. in International Management.
