University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) is a public medical and research university based in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. It was founded in 1962 by the 162nd Massachusetts General Court and is part of the University of Massachusetts System. The first and only academic health sciences institution of the Commonwealth, the University of Massachusetts Medical School is popular for its comprehensive education and cutting-edge scientific research.
