various data sources including OpenAlex and CrossRef. The bibliometric data for
estimating the citation-based metrics were acquired on 21-12-2022.
Position in the ranking is based on a sum of D-indexes (Discipline H-index) of all ranking
scholar’s affiliated with a given institution. D-index
only includes publications and citation
metrics for an examined discipline.
The scope of our Physics research

What is D-index acceptance threshold for Physics
The D-index threshold for including a scientist to be examined is established at 70 if most of their publications are in the discipline of Physics. The approval requirements for scholars to be considered into the ranking of top researchers are based on the D-index, ratio of the publications made within the selected field of study in addition to the awards and achievements of the scholars. Position in the ranking is established using each scientist’s D-index according to information compiled from OpenAlex and CrossRef, which are the most credible and well-established bibliometric databases of this type accessible to the scientific community.
