Today the image processing and computer vision are solving the problems, which were assumed to be almost insolvable by the machines. This is possible because of the re-advent of the neural computational capabilities in the last decade and many new neural machines have been introduced. CNN, RNN, LSTM, and GANs, etc are the hot examples of those newly developed deep learning-based architectural frameworks for supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning methods, and applications. The special issue on Neural Computing and Applications in Computer Vision and Image Processing is intended to invite the top quality original research articles form in the area of scope of the Neural Computing and Applications. The special issue will mainly focus on the area of image processing and computer vision, algorithms, architectures, and applications. The special issue will cover the following topics:
Dr. Satish Kumar Singh (Lead Guest Editor), Computer Vision and Biometrics Group, Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, Pryagraj-211015, India, Email: [email protected]
Prof. Dr. Xiaoyi Jiang, Department of Computer Science, University of Münster, Einsteinstrasse 62, D-48149 Münster, Germany, Email: [email protected]

Peer Review Process
All the papers will go through a double blind review process and will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. A thorough check will be done and the guest editors will check any significant similarity between the manuscript under consideration and any published paper or submitted manuscripts of which they are aware. In such case, the article will be directly rejected without proceeding further. Guest editors will make all reasonable effort to receive the reviewer’s comments and recommendation on time.
Each manuscript should not exceed 16 pages in length (inclusive of figures and tables).
Paper submissions for the special issue should follow the submission format and guidelines (https://www.springer.com/journal/521/submission-guidelines).
Authors should select ‘SI: NCACVIP' during the submission step 'Additional Information'.
The submitted papers must provide original research that has not been published nor currently under review by other venues. Previously published conference papers should be clearly identified by the authors at the submission stage and an explanation should be provided about how such papers have been extended. At least 30% of new content is expected.
