The Agile Wireless Internet of Things (AWIoT) is one component of a range of IoT applications including smart homes, industry 4.0, smart environments, smart grids, e-health and ecommerce transactions.
One of the key challenges for AWIoT is coordinating spatially distributed static or mobile devices that are subject to operating system constraints, disturbances in transmission media, defects in infrastructure, network failures, changing traffic patterns and the need to maintain quality of service.
AI can be used to optimizes AWIoT. Deep learning, ML, neural networks and evolutionary algorithms can facilitate data prediction and performance improvement and help manage the huge volume of data flowing from sensors, network devices, social media and many other sources.
This issue looks at how AI can be used in AWIoT. We seek research papers that look at these and other topics:

Submissions
Submissions should be original papers and should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Extended versions of high quality conference papers that are already published at relevant venues may also be considered as long as the additional contribution is substantial (at least 30% of new content).
