Special Issue Call for Papers

Distance Geometry (DG) is a consolidated research area, where mathematics and com-
puter science are at its foundation. As the concept of distance is essential to the human
experience, there are several real-life applications that can be modeled and faced by DG.
While the classical DG applications arise in the field of bioinformatics and telecommu-
nications, there are several other applications where a DG formulation can actually give
new interesting scientific results.
The aim of this special issue is to collect original contributions on new emerging applica-
tions of DG. Papers presenting novel results on the classical DG applications are welcome
as well. Submitted papers should be related to the topics of the Distance Geometry Day
(DGD16):
