Conference Call for Papers
On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, it is
my pleasure to invite you to EuCAP 2022, Europe’s flagship
conference on antennas and propagation, which will take place
in Madrid from March 27th to April 1st.
Madrid is the capital and most populated city of Spain, with
more than 3 million people, and its hotel facilities are among
the best in Europe. Madrid hosts more than fifteen universities
and it is a hub of entrepreneurial innovation and technology,
with branches of the most important companies in the areas of
aerospace industry and communications.
The host country, Spain, has a strong antennas and propagation
community in both academia and industry and, Madrid, as the
capital of Spain, hosts the main branches of the high-tech
companies in Spain. In radiofrequency and Aero spatial sectors,
Airbus, Thales Alenia, INDRA, SENER among others have their
offices in Madrid metropolitan area, working more than two
hundred antenna engineers in those companies. The cellular
Spanish companies (Telefonica, Vodafone, Orange among
others) and the telecommunications equipment vendors have
also their headquarters in this area. Therefore, EuCAP 2022 will
be a unique place to strengthen the link between the scientific
antennas and propagation communities in areas related to 5G,
space applications, or future communication systems.
