Conference Call for Papers

This AACR virtual meeting will focus on the presentation of emerging data in basic, clinical, translational, and epidemiological research related to COVID-19 and cancer. Advances made since the first AACR meeting on this topic in July 2020 will be covered through a mix of keynote lectures, panel discussions, scientific symposia, and poster sessions. The impact of COVID-19 as a worldwide pandemic has been called my many as a once in a century event – impacting nearly every country on the globe.

COVID-19 continues to impact cancer care and healthcare professionals continue to adapt to minimize the negative ramifications related to cancer outcomes and psychosocial disorders due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has had a disproportionate impact on certain ethnic and socioeconomic sectors of society, shining a spotlight on health care disparities.

This virtual meeting will not only provide updates on topics covered in July 2020, but will also address new areas such as artificial intelligence, data science, new agent development, and survivorship and policy issues that are crucial elements in the struggle against this virus.
